Shelby Finds Some Clothes

Shelby found something to wear that accentuates her pretty eyes. It's a combination of several outfits from Darla's Delight.

Shelby is my first #2 face mold Effner Little Darling. I was a little unsure how I would like this face mold, but in person, I'm quite fond of it. Shelby is so unique looking. Thank you Nelly.

Shelby Faith

Shelby Faith arrived today. She was painted by the talented Nelly Valentino. She has the most amazing aqua eyes. Nelly had sent me photos of her, and I didn't immediately bond with the photos. When I opened her box, I was stunned. She was so much prettier than I expected. Here is what she looked like shortly after arriving. I had to take her photos before even finding some clothes for her to wear. So here is sweet Shelby Faith.

Gracelyn Shows Off Her Wild Side

I ordered my first Tibettain Mohair wig. I wasn't sure what to expect. It was pretty fluffy when it arrived. So I wet it, and put some hair gel on it. After it dried, it looks a lot better. It's still a little wild, especially for innocent Gracelyn, but fun.

The wig was made by Michelle Hardy and is Maize in color. Click here for her website. She has quite a variety of wigs from which to choose.

Alyssia in Red

This cute outfit was custom made by Darla's Delights. She is so great to work with. It's for Alyssia, because somehow she seems more trendy and maybe a little older than the other girls. She has such pretty brown eyes, that the camera doesn't seem to do them justice.

Alyssia Kaye

I feel like today is Christmas because I saw photos of the first Little Darling that I have ever ordered. Her name is Alyssia Kaye, and she was painted by Joyce Mathews. It's weird getting photos of a doll you have imagined for several months, because you don't know if she will turn out exactly like you expect. Alyssia definitely didn't turn out the way I imagined. I thought she would look identical to another doll I've admired for a long time. But Alyssia will have her own charm and spirit. Her are her "artist" photos.
